Sensor matching is unforgiving — the details matter
Two sensors can look identical yet differ in output type (NPN/PNP), sensing distance, response time, light source and connector. Swapping the wrong type can mean a machine that triggers on the wrong event — or not at all. Always match the full model code, including any P/N suffix.
Why sensors go obsolete fastest
Sensor ranges refresh faster than PLCs. A model that was standard three years ago is frequently discontinued, and the successor may differ in mounting or output. That makes an exact, in-stock replacement valuable — and why we hold depth in the popular KEYENCE families.
